Kiki Gyan
The cover and its title already says everything: this is for disco lovers. Kiki Gyan was a musician and producer from Ghana also known for being a wizard on the keyboard. Curiously, this album was recorded between 1978 and 1982 and released in late 2012, 8 years afterthe artist's death. Put on your dancing shoes and go listen to this treasure, hidden for more than 30 years.

SANDINISTA!
The Clash
That is definitely the most eclectic album recorded by The Clash, it has touches of reggae, dub, and rap without losing its roots on punk rock, gender for what the band is known for. It was recorded between England, Jamaica and the U.S and released in the end of 1980, winning several awards for best album in the year ahead. It is a classic, The Clash will always be.

ACID MT FUJI
Susumu Yokota
If you’re into electronic music, this album is one of the finest you can get. Susumu Yokota was a widely talented japanese artist, dj and producer. If you heard of Ebi, Prism, or Anima Mundi, those were all his pseudonyms. Susuma recorded over thirty albums throughout his career between 1993 and 2012, Acid Mt. Fuji was his second one, released in 1994. Acid in the right measure, listen to this album is literaly a trip, it seems the beats are bringing you higher to the mountains. Take this loud.

BIZARRE RIDE II 
The Pharcyde
Released in the end of 1992, Bizarre Ride II is the debut album of The Pharcyde, and since, then, it’s been taking a very imporant place in East Coast’s hip hop alternative scene. It is jazzy, funky and classic at the same time. Curiously, the group members of The Pharcyde were all dancers before starting at the mics, so believe me: they know how to make you shake your ribs.

Hole
Formed in Los Angeles in the end of the 80’s, Hole is a band recruited by Courtney Love, where she performs as a singer and guitarrist. Live Through This is the second studio album by the band and it was release on April of 1994, peculiarly, just one week after Kurt Cobain’s death. The album is considered one of the first great riot grrrl (underground feminist punk movement) manifesto. It is one of those that makes you learn the lyrics and sing out loud.

DA LAMA AO CAOS 
Chico Sciense & Nação Zumbi
Straight out of Brazil, Chico Sciense and Nação Zumbi were the pioneer musicians to come out of the Manguebit movement(Mangrove + Bit) . The movement was born in the 90s, when artists from the Northeast of Brazil got together in order to galvanize the culture in the country, mixing the traditional with the modern, punk rock with maracatu, samba with heavy metal. Da Lama ao caos, in english -From Mud to Chaos-, came out in 1994 and nothing like that it was ever done before.

SCREAMADELICA
Primal Scream
When indie-rock meets house music and you realise how good that can be when recorded by the right band. Screamadelica was released by the Scots in 1991 and has been regularly named one of the best albums of the 1990’s by critics. It marks the beginning of a new age in music and the clubbing culture. Highly recommended for a party, or even a walk around with your headphones. Enjoy it.

The Sugar Cubes was an alternative rock band from Reykjavík that was formed in 1986 and disbanded in 1992. Our favourite Icelandic star, Björk, was the band’s leader singer and keyboardist. The Great Crossover Potential was released in 1998 and contains tracks from the group's three studio albums, with no new tracks or remixes.It is credited as the first Icelandic album to have a worldwide impact and is considered a definite influence on all subsequent Icelandic popular music.m

Echo & The Bunnymen
Born in the city that have produced more number-one singles than any other in the world, Liverpool, Echo and the Bunnymen got their influences mainly on David Bowie, The Beatles and The Doors. Songs to Learn and Sing was released in 1985 and features all the songs the band had released since 1980. With the band’s standard drum machine and some dynamic dance cuts, the compilation was very well received by fans and critics.
